Explains project concept in Slashbase app context.
A Project in Slashbase is a logical separation that divides database connections into teams. Each project has project members that define the member's role in the project and have access to all the database connections accordingly.
Any Project in Slashbase can have:
Multiple members with roles such as
has super access to all the databases in the project.
can add/remove databases
can add/remove project members
has write access to all the databases in the project.
has read access to all the databases in the project.
has read-only access to all the databases in the project.
Creating a project
To create a project in Slashbase:
You need to make sure, you have logged in using the root account in the app.
Click on Create new project in homepage.
Enter the name and click on Create button.
Adding project members
To add a project member in Slashbase:
You need to make sure, you have admin role in the project you are adding.
Go to the project page you want to add the members in.
Click on View project members button.
Click on Add new project member button.
Search for the member by name or email (user should exist in the Slashbase app, if not exists, root user can add new users from manage users menu)
Click on the found user, select role, and click Add button.
